Glad he's better Susan, it is worrying when your dog is not their usual self. If you're ever in doubt ask here and there will always be someone who has experienced the same thing and can offer advice!
He'll be back to head locking Border Colies now!!!!! |

Thank you so much everyone!
Unfortunately, the poor wee soul has had a bad weekend! And all my fault. I gave him his first rawhide bone on Saturday (OK, I now realise this was a very bad idea).
It did NOT agree with Rufus. To put it politely, he has not been a 'fragrant' pup to have around, and the poor baby has had such an upset stomach. He has had vicious diarrohea, had to go into the bath twice, and has been sick a lot! We have lost a rug, as just no chance of cleaning it up!
I starved him from Saturday lunchtime right through to Sunday dinnertime, and he was so listless, but brightened up and went for a walk last night. Think he is not quite over it, but is on the mend again. He will never get a rawhide bone again!! |

Aw poor wee guy. Starving him is the best thing to do. When you feed him again give him small amounts of chicken, scrambled egg, rice or tuna. Something light for his digestion until he's back on track! |

Thank you Marcella,
I gave him scrambled egg last night, and some of his usual kibble this morning, I hope its OK! I can't believe he had such a reaction. He has lost weight, you can tell, which is scary, that it came off him so quickly!
Hopefully he'll be fit for puppy class on Thursday! |

Oh no what a wee shame
Glad he is starting to get better again though and the weight will come back up again soon so try not to worry about him being thinner
Hope this is him this time back to full health _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
