3 of them, we had Pixel at the training and the rest were at home, thankfully with it only being smoke they didnt have to be taken out, they were just shut in one of the bedrooms as it was only the living room and kitchen that were smoke filled.

Yes me too, I always used to lie in bed and think about my escape plan if we got a fire during the night Rolling Eyes

Can you imagine getting the call to say 'there is smoke in your house, the fire brigade are trying to get in, what have you left on, we cant see flames but cant see in to see if the animals are ok'

and trying to drive home from a distance of a 1 hr journey, thankfully as my mum was talking to me on the phone (yes I was also driving) they got in and minutes later told me the dogs were fine...but seemed like hours Crying or Very sad

Phoebe, chill out....if you remember to switch them of it'll be fine. Just be aware of yourself switching them off. Better still, get in to the habbit of unplugging them all, if you don't already do so. Smile

We all have inner fears, Phoebe and this is yours.

I remember when we lived on the 5th floor of flats in Govan (with Jodie) and some boys set fire to our bikes which were chained up on the landing. I came out and saw nothing but this thick blanket of smoke and I really thought we were done for. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

The fire brigade were brilliant - they didn't even have to use the turntable ladder (it wouldn't have reached anyway Sad)

Aye, no more Shirley.... Rolling Eyes Poor Ashley will be terrified now.... Rolling Eyes Wink

Ashley, don't panic about leaving Holly in her own, as she'll only pick up your anxieties which will cause her to worry. Just chill out and enjoy her, puppyhood doesn't last long. Smile
