hi i know this a dog page but my friend has asked me to look out for a kitten or young cat needing a home for her mother, old family cat was put to sleep at start of the year. sex/colour not important. thanks!

yeah, the only problem is that kitten season is nearly over so they dont have many and the ones they do have they dont want to rehome them before xmas. i can see their point but if she could get one before then it would be great, if not she'll go there in the new year.

Would they not be more flexible if they knew the circumstances and she visited one of the centres. its not like she wants a kitten to give as a xmas pressie

i'll say to her to enquire. its typical, because i had 2 kittens in at work last week needing a home, and i managed to find places for them within the day, not realising she was looking!

Suzanne,

We have a woman down here who works miracles in rescuing rehoming cats and kittens. There is a pet section in our local paper on a Saturday and they almost always have cats needing homes.

I'm sure she'd be happy to try and get you a kitten/young cat before Christmas. We're in Greenock though, but if you like I could give you her details.
