Not if I can help it!!!

I've told my clients... closed 3pm on Fri 21st until 9am on Mon 7th...

And on my website it says for URGENT CLIENT ENQUIRIES leave a voice mail message.... and I put the urgent and client in red to hammer home the message!

I'm a caring type of person me! I really don't want to know about it unless their whole digital world is coming to an end! Very Happy

This is the first year in ages I haven't worked on Christmas Eve and the first time EVER that Chris has been off. Being in retail not only meant work, but staying on till late - often until after 8pm- to set up the Sale up for the day after Boxing day!

I think we might be opening the bubby this year!!!

Definately Enid enjoy it my sister is in retail and I always feel so sorry for her as she can't even get home to Bute for Christmas so she ends up on her own or at friends becasue she finshes to late on Christmas Eve and starts too early for the boats etc on boxing day, think she might be getting an hour off both days this year to allow her to come home as she hasn't been home in 4 years

I am off! I have nearly the whole fortnight off, just working the Thursday and Friday of the second week, its going to be brilliant!

Enid, I used to work in Frasers, I did it for the whole 4 years I was a student, and even though I had long holidays, I hated working Christmas Eve and then Boxing Day, I used to think that it ruined the day, as I was constantly thinking 'oh I'm working tomorrow'! You will enjoy it this year!

I certainly feel much more Christmassy than I have in the past! Even thinking about putting the tree up - I usually have to be persuaded into doing it!!

Close but not quite Dan Bute is commonly knowen as Rothesay just across the Clyde from Cumbrae (Millport) it was a great place to grow up just a pitty there is a distinct lack of good jobs so hence the reason I ventured up here to the big smoke. Laughing

have to work xmas eve. hopefully finish around 3 or 3.30ish

working in between too.

Have a large project to submit - and have left most of it till the last minute - so hoping that the phones and mail will be dead over xmas and I can spend at least 3 days finalising my report and recommendations etc. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Time to pay back all those hours I spend walking the dogs at lunchtime Embarassed
