turkey with the trimming and parsnips finished off roasted with maple syrup drizzled over them! Smile

I love crispy roast potatoes, gravy and stuffing!!!!!!! Very Happy That's my favourite bits of the christmas dinner.

have to say xmas dinner isnt quite the same when ur veggie! i have a quorn roast, with veg, but dont like potatoes!. my favourite part is the pudding, akways has been! mums home made trifle yum!

do you make your own, I am a veggie too but end up with the same as everyone else minus the meat

We are veggie too. Number one son is Vegan. I make a nut roast each year. I can pass on some tried and tested recipes if anyone wants them.

Do not try making a chestnut one from scratch unless you are very patient - just shelling them took forever.
My favourite is a cashew nut roast. I love a selection of roasted root vegetables with balsamic vinegar. John loves braised red cabbage with red onions and fresh crispy red apples. Good colours and lots of textures too.
I always make a boozy trifle and some really boozy fruits for extras.

Lorna your a star, i always struggle to find good tried and tested veggie recipes to make. may be it is the fact I dont get the chance to cook or is it I cant cook can't remember Embarassed
