Sad 'fraid the stitches were my fault. We're off for a month with the caravan this summer so I thought if he was going to be neutered it was better to get it over with before his holiday. He's been showing more purposeful interest in bitches and laying his sent everywhere so .... I hope I did the right thing. I just dread him taking off the way our first dog did. No fencing could keep him in once he decided to look for romance. What's a 6 foot fence when the love of your life is only a few miles away? Rolling Eyes

Aww he's lovely, I hope he heals soon and as painlessly as possible.

I love the "lampshade" I remember when my youngest was attacked as a pup and had her ear stiched up we had one of those, poor thing took about two days trying to get down the stairs as each stair she looked down and the elizabethan collar got caught on the stair and so it repeated itself each step we went down Laughing

when Inca got spade she started using the cone to get at her stitches, she used to catch it on the top stitch which allowed her to lick the others but then it would slip down and catch all the others. in the end we got one of my little brothers vests put it on her and raped a bandage round it over her tummy cos she was making her stitches red.
it just shows shes not as daft as she lets on Very Happy
