Basil is terrified of Snowmen. We were going down the Glen at 8 this morning, he was barking at the snowmen which remained on the park. He kept running behind me and would not walk past them.
I went over to them and called him. He would not come near me. I tried using some of the snow to make snowballs and throw them for him. No go!
He only came to me when I moved away from the snowman. He then stayed close, keeping me between him and the snowmen.
On the way back home he behaved just the same.
Why?
Luckily there was only one other person with dogs around. She obviously thought I had a mad vicious dog as she dragged her dogs off in the opposite direction.

Poor big boy, they must look really strange to him. He is such a cute boy with his wee toy Very Happy my dogs much prefer their stuffies to normal rubber dog toys.

Lynn, that is so nice a thought. An album is a great memory. I have loads of doggy pictures from over the years. Treasure them.

Ok, John. This is your great challenge. How do we cure Basil's fear of snowmen.
Kirsty, I suspect Basil never had street cred. SH! Don't tell him.
