Rosie is at the Rainbow bridge. Gaelle, I am sorry for your loss but happy that Rosie is finally at peace. It must be comforting that she went gently in your arms. Now you need to move on and take heart that you still have Cuthbert.
Sorry I can't speak to you. I am full of the cold and have lost my voice. Thinking of you.

Gaelle, how is Cuthbert? I'm sure he senses the loss too. Is he pining or is he OK?

He seems okay. I'm sure he knows something is different now. He has not been so mad the last few days and a fair bit more gentle. I don't mean he was ever nasty, he was just more hyperactive and demanding. Before Rosie left I took him in to see her , he had a sniff at her then left and afterwards he went in had a sniff about and came out again. Once or twice he has gone over to the baby gate and had a wee sniff and come away again. He quite often comes over to me and licks my tears! He is more likely to settle down after a cuddle than before.

Gaelle

so sorry to hear of your loss, it's not easy when your best friend has to move on, but I'm sure you have a lot of good memories to see you through and Cuthbert to keep you busy

I'm sure Rosie will be keeping a watchful eye over you and Cuthbert (Cuthbert's very own guardian angel)

take care

Eleanor

Thank you for all your messages of support when Rosie died. I do appreciate them but it is still very hard for me to remain on an emotional even keel and I guess it will be for a long time to come. Thanks again
