When Rusty cut his paw it looked worse than it really was so fingers crossed yours is the same.
Hope to meet your dogs soon they sound lovely Smile

Skye had her paw redressed today. The vet says all is looking well. Very Happy

One hour later Skye had her paw redressed again and the vet said all was still looking well. Shocked

The girls thought it would be a fun game to play, who can get Skye's bandage off first! Mad

Still not convinced Mrs Lawrie has put it on tight enough, so i have gone over it with the spare bandage she gave me..Little tinkers Rolling Eyes

Why don't you just dress it yourself? That's what I do. Get Vet rap and do it yourself, its not to difficult.

Any horsey shop will sell vet rap or even ask the vets if they will sell you some.

I get the vet wrap from my vets or a horse supplies store. The horse stuff is a lot wider so for the dogs I just get it at the vets

Evil or Very Mad I am not talking to my dogs today!! Since i got in last night they have managed to remove Skyes bandage 4 times...i am now out of dressing and have had to resort to one of Laurens socks to keep Skyes paw covered!!

It gets worse her stitch's have burst slightly at one end, although the skin is still knitted together and I can't get into the vets until 3.10 today!!!

Mad Not a happy bunny!!

Is she moving around? Or is she pulling it off?

Pulling it of John with a little help from Lady!! Mad

Just had it redressed.... i don't think they are dressing it tight enough, it was alot tighter when the male vet did it.
I think she is a bit soft. So i have brought a batch of the dressing myself.

If it comes off again I'm doing it!! Twisted Evil

Could anyone give me any advice on Skye's wound...she has again overnight removed the bandage and on closer inspection has managed to dissolve through licking some stitches!!

I have also noticed that her dew claw looks to be getting infected i think from the bandage/sweating.
She is still on antibiotics and i am running out of options.
Do you think it is best to leave the bandage off to help it dry out?

P.s Lady ate one of the bottom stairs last night too!! What is that all about? Confused

She is probably harming it more by pulling the bandage off so often.

Ask for someone other than Mrs Lawrie! I always do.
