JUST SPOKE TO EMMA THIS MORNING WITH REGARDS SKYE!

AFTER HER INCIDENT AT THE GLEN YESTERDAY SKY AND HER CUT PAW WAS TAKEN TO THE VETS TODAY! THE CUT PIECE ON THE PAW IS TOO THIN TO STITCH YET TOO DEEP TO LEAVE! THE PIECE WILL HAVE TO BE CUT AWAY!

WHILE AT THE VETS, (LAWRIES ) SHE ALSO MET A SMALL WESTIE WITH A CUT PAW ALSO WHO HAD INCURRED IT ALSO AT THE GLEN SO PLEASE BE AWARE!

THE VET WILL TRY AND GET SKYE'S PAW DONE UNDER A LOCAL SEDATION AND EMMA HAS TO CALL BACK BETWEEN 1PM AND 2PM! SHE IS RATHER EMOTIONAL!

ON RETURNING HOME SHE CALLED SKYE'S INSURANCE AND HAS BEEN TOLD SHE IS NOT COVERED AS IT IS LESS THAT 17 DAYS SINCE THE POLICY HAS HAPPENED!....................NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE IS FURIOUS! IN LADY'S POLICY IT WAS A 7 DAY PERIOD AND NOW IT IS 17 DAYS!

THE VET HAS SUGGESTED THAT SHE IS LOOKING AT APPROX £150 FOR THE TREATMENT!I AM LOGGING THIS ON THE FORUM AS INTO THE BARGAIN SHE IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH HER PC!

maybe worth mentioning to the dog warden too???????? Not sure that she can do much but perhaps she can report it to the necessary department.

I've just spoken to John Duffy and he gave me the number for Scottish Wild Life Trust who own the glen, so I have given them a call and left a message.

Just thought i would let everyone know that Skye is back home supporting the latest in fashion, a pink sock!
All went well, she is to go back in on Thursday for a bandage change but hopefully that is all.

She is very quiet and is lying in her bed, still a bit sleepy from the sedation.
She is having Lot's of love & cuddles and Lady is in the kitchen looking for her dinner so she is getting peace from her too.

Smile

She's allowed to eat.
They just said half portion tonight just to make sure she wasn't sick with the sedation.

She soon came around after the turkey breast!! Laughing

She is now back t picking fights with Lady.....very hard to keep her down Rolling Eyes
