the pups are 3 weeks today and fly straight at Sapphires food, anyone on here weaned pups straight onto raw meat. I have tried to introduce a little puppy milk in a shallow dish but they are not interested at all. I was considering weaning them onto mushed jwb kibble as it will be easier for when they go to their new homes, although I feed Sapphire raw, Talli has fish based kibble as he has allergy problems on raw.
Is it too early to try them on raw? If I let them have raw I guess there will be no chance of them eating the kibble. They are big chunky pups btw, and Sapphire is trying to wean them off herself as they all have teeth.

Surprised Wow beautiful picture..anyway when we had Lady she had been weaned straight on to raw although she was on orphaned Lambs milk too. This was mixed in with her food so she had no choice. Don't know if this helps.. Smile

Hi My GSD puppy Jake was weaned straight on to raw by his breeder. I have his number if you want to give him a call and he could give you some info?

MUM IS STUNNING AND LOOKS LIKE SHE IS A GOOD MUM! AS FOR THE PUPS THEY CERTAINLY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE THRIVING AND SOLID ENOUGH TO TRY OUT RAW A LITTLE BIT!
