yeh both of mine love rolling in fox, badger or even dead things to disguise there own scent .... wee mingers. Our old JRT Jock used to roll in dead birds and fish on the beach across from home all the time it was disgusting puke_r At least it's relatively easy to wash the wee ones Very Happy

wasn't an easy job tonight! There I was stripped to a pair of knickers and a vest and in the shower cubicle with them! Me and a GSD in the shower means zero room to move! Confused I felt a hard lump on Murphy's back and immediately thought it was an injury as it was right down at the skin under the fur. Well when I soaked it and managed to loosen a bit the stench hit me! puke_r I took ages to get it all out! Shocked

are you planning to apply for "miss wet t shirt competition" anytime soon!.............i'm sure john could get you an application form! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

however i have always threatened to do something similar as our two try to get into the bath while i'm having a bath! might just do it one time and bathe the pair of us in one go!........................i have a funny feeling i may come out dirtier than i went in though!!!! I'm just glad I have a short haired dog - you can just wipe him down with a chamois.

Unless he's been in a bog - then it's hose or bath.

Yip, thats why i was late that time to training!!! Rolling Eyes I'm never late for anything so hence why I was all flustered!!!
She hasnt done it since.... (in fairness though, i think it may have been by accident!!)

Although Hollys coat is still to grow longer, i will be getting her groomed and having the hair on her legs and body cut... with only her ears and tail still curly!!! She may be small... but getting her clean can just be a nightmare sometimes. Im so glad I can just plonk her in the sink!!! Wink Smile

Rolling in fox poo is a favourite Beagle revenge on the owner who won't let them down the badger hole. Twisted Evil
Luckily, or unluckily, Misty is too old to go running now and she doesn't do it any more. Although she will roll in anything left by a neighbour's cat. It won't help her catch him but she likes to dream.
I used to get 2 Beagles in the shower, me dressed like Marcella, to get it off. Basil goes to Trish to get bathed. Danes have no desire to roll in fox poo thank good. Can you imagine 2 Danes and me trying to get in the shower? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
