Hektor is still not himself. He has had a lump about 1 inch across on the right side of his neck near where his collar sits since last Saturday. He was really subdued on Saturday all day but perked up again on Sunday, hence why we made it to class. Vet gave him antibiotics (Noroclav) on Tuesday but said it wasnt a gland, couldnt see a wound - mystery lump! He's got terrible diahrroea since yesterday and wasnt really interested in his food this morning though not AS subdued as Sat.

Got the Vets again this afternoon at 2 where he said he will probably need to sedate him and stick a needle in lump to see if there's any pus, or maybe xray to see if he may have chipped a bone in his neck with rough play.

Am getting more worried by the minute, just want him to be back to his annoying, bouncy, mooching, paper shredding, couch eating self Sad

The antibiotics may be causing the runs - certainly what happens to me!!!

Hope he's ok.

Oh what a worry Lisa ............ I hope he is OK. Keep us posted at the vet sees him this afternoon.
Hopefully it'll be something that is quick and easy for the vet to deal with! Sad

Hope he is ok. If he has an infected lump, the poison going through his system could be bringing him down.

Oh Lisa it is such a worry when they are ill. Hope all is OK at the vets.
I had a Dane George that had a lump which was a mystery on his leg vet gave antibiotics and he was loads better but the lump took ages to go. Confused

Fingers crossed it is something simple.

Lady and Skye are sending best wishes and sloppy kisses, get better soon Hector!

I would say he is too young, try not to read too much, you know what its like, I have a sore head then it becomes a brain tumor and not a migraine Rolling Eyes wait and see what the vet says (((()))) wee hugs to you
