It's between Stirling and Tillicoultry Barry, just at the foot of the Ochil hills.

How many dogs/bitches were showing? Was it a big show?

There were 7 entrants in the open class but only 2 of us actually went in the ring, I'm still chuffed though, if they can't be bothered to show up or go in the ring that's their loss. Wink

Why enter and then not participate? Is it because they perhaps knew they wouldn't win? Confused
Seems odd. Some people must take these things far too seriously, participating is part of the fun, not just winning.

Exactly Marcella, they do take it too seriously, I go for the day out, meet other people, let the dogs assosiate with others etc, winning a place is a bonus as far as I'm concerned. Wink

It was a lovely day John, I did'nt get away till 6pm as the AGM was held after judging had finished, but I took a nice sunset pic on my way home.

My Danes can't enter because they are rescues but I keep them outside and they meet other Danes in the car park/exercise area. Basil meets old friends and I get to see some great dogs and really nice people. I agree it isn't just about winning.

One day when John retires and gets his puppy it will be in the ring.
