Popped along to a friends for 45 minutes last night, leaving Kai in the Kitchen. Had to leave him because she's currently got a rescue who has a skin condition. Came home to find he'd attempted to eat my handbag Twisted Evil and all the contents which included my purse. He's emptied the purse of everything, money, bank cards, credit cards, driving license, National Insurance Card, etc and destroyed the lot Confused Just on the phone now ordering replacement cards Rolling Eyes

Oh my god, this dog has really be sent to try me!!

Janis, believe me, he has stuffed kongs, nylabones, rawhides and all the toys you can imagine but his preference is anything that is not attached firmly to the floor/wall, etc. I've done well in the past to make sure the kitchen is cleared of all these things but unfortunately this trip out was very spur of the moment and in the rush I forgot my handbag Laughing I've learnt my lesson!

oh no.... what a nightmare

maybe you should get a crate for when you need to go out... we left leon in kitchen once and he tried to eat his way thru the door... we got a crate after that!

This brings back so many memories!!! Laughing Jaws was just awful with his chewing as well. No matter how many toys and chews I would buy him, he would still find it a lot more entertaining to chew the walls and everything he could reach! Laughing My thoughts are with you. Smile

My thoughts are with you too. I have posted up elsewhere the many and varied things he has chewed in the past but the most recent and annoying was one of my good boots which I thought was safely in another room. Unfortunately I had accidentally left the living room door ajar and Cuthbert had a ball!!! (well to be more exact, a boot, which he thoroughly enjoyed!!). Oh joy!
Ah well such are the joys of dog ownership! Wink Wink

Ment to add a funny one, a foster dog we had the little darling that she was chewed through our phoneline, we ended up getting money back due to loss of service when we complained, Embarassed that was before we knew it was Sophies fault.

I have never had anything chewed...apart from a pen and a toothmark on the dining room table.

But then he's crated when we're out and at night. He does chew a lot, but stuff he's allowed to.

Or maybe he just houseproud Laughing

I love the idea of house proud dogs.
Do you think the are copying the owners with this. Mine don't chew except for the stems of bushes in the garden - just big sticks, cuddly toys or balls.
