Well, the end of another working week ..........
Tomorrow I'm going to a birthday party - a 2 year olds! and it's our 18th Wedding Anniversary too ...........
The weather looks grim so all in all I think it will be a quiet weekend in this house!
Anyone got any plans? |

Newcastle is a bit of a jaunt but not too bad! If the weather clears up it would be a nice drive. You could stop at Berwick and let Libby have a swim! |

I'm really paranoid about letting her swim Just the thought of something happening to her in under an hour scares me!! But I'm sure there will be plenty of stops as star has the weakest bladder ever!!!! Going down really early Sunday morning. We were going to bring them on the walk on Sunday but not sure how the new dog will be Might bring them and if the big yin acts up then Stephen can hold back with him. Not fair on Star and Libby to miss out they love the walks round the glen!
That's all depending how things go, might just be Star and Libby if this dog is a nutter! He sounds perfect, great with kids (the woman who owns him just now has 6 kids!!!) good with other dogs and cats, and is obedient |

no that's fair point Sheryl. Ridgebacks are notoriously head strong and are very dominant naturally. Ask Shirley and Allan! They were worried about Daka going on the walk, but she's quieter on the walk than she is normally.
We had a neighbour who had one and he could only walk his when no other dogs were about or he'd get dragged right off his feet as his dog would get aggressive.
Maybe worth introducing your dogs to him when you get there and see how he is Fiona. |

Hi
One of her kids is disabled and he is pretty bad, they are in and out of hospital with him and the dog has to get kenneled for weeks at a time. I did speak to her about it and she said he is really quiet and just lazes about most of the time. Definitely Star and Libby come first and if they don't get on then we won't be getting him! Star isn't really dominant anyway but I know that can change. Well fingers crossed or we will never hear the end of it from Stephen! |

we travelled to Barnsley to get Koda, took us just over 4 hours to get there, we were quite lucky, he just slept all the way back up. |
