I thought we'd bought Dale a huge cage when he was 8 weeks, but recently noticed he wasn't choosing to rest in it so often. Then realised he couldn't stretch out properly anymore Rolling Eyes
So we've bought him a new holiday home and have a spare 36"x24" cage. He won't shrink and we've no need or room for it, so if anyone else can use it let me know.
Its got an up and over door at one end and two ordinary doors as well and a plastic tray.

Hi Janice just checked and think we would need a bigger one as I think we need the one you just bought to replace the old one.

Thanks

Sheryl Its 3 feet by 2 feet and I'm not so worried about the cash. I just don't like it not used. If you want you could take it and see if it helps. It would certainly be big enough for one of yours. I'm sure I could get it to you or you could collect.

Well you tell me how much you would like for it and I can either come down and pick it up after work one night!
How did you get Dale used to the cage?? Did you close the door of the cage?

Would £10 sound reasonable?

Dale's mum had a cage and the pups were playing in and out of it when we visited at 5 weeks, so Dale just went right in with no bother. He def thinks of it as HIS den.

I think you put in treats and maybe feed them in it to encourage them in at first and only close the door
for short spells until they're happy about it. John's probably the person to ask.

I'm happy at £10. It cost about £40 new and that was with bedding which I was going to keep and a divider which I've lost.
We're away on Monday for a few weeks so you'd have to get it soon or wait til after 9th August.
I'm sure the boys will like a crate. I'd just leave it open and put some nice toys and treats in and let them explore it at first. Then you can get them in by tossing in treats or toys for them to chase after and they're in.
I assume your only going to use it for one dog at a time. I'll look for the divider but I think it might be too small for them if you split it.

Are you sure 10 pounds is enough?
Where did you buy the crate in the first place!? To possibly get a second one??
