Hiya , recieved this email today, very tempted myself to help out, but i cant until we know whats happening with the house Sad Sad Sad
so thought i would post it, will try post a picture of her, she is a white husky around 18months old

Hello
Kasey is still looking for a new home unfortunatley.
We have only had Her 4 months but my partner an i have had to move as iv started a new job. I work with horses my new job is on an estate an Kasey's problem is Sheep!!! Since she has been with me iv had her off the lead (i know a normal no-no for huskies!)all the time at the stables an she just followed me an the horses about. However as you know its lambing time, Kasey found this very intresting an now just wants to play with the lambs, she does not bite or anything she seams to just want to play, however the farmer does not know this an will shot her. So my problem is its not fair to shut her in while i work especially when she is used to running around with me an the other dogs on the yard.
Otherwise she is a truley lovely dog an iam goin to be very upset when she does leave.
She loves other dogs company an wants to play all day, graet with children, horses!! She is great in the house an just loves to be with you or another dog.
I rehomed her from a council house so although she is an older pup she still finds everything very new as she never got out much. She was also a little under weight. Since being with us she has improved, the vets are happy with her weight she just has to muscle up a bit more.

Kerry, dont want to come across wrong, but are you dealing with someone you know? or know where abouts and not unsolicited junk mail from nigerian scammers trying to get money? sorry, I maybe out of line here.

I,m assuming the current owners have tried all aspects to get Kasey to change her behavior towards the sheep? This seems very sad, as i,m sure the dog if given time and effort would adapt to being around the sheep!? Lovely dog anyhow Laughing

i will email her today to try and find out, oh and no i dont personally know her, i have been emailing a few people about rehoming huskys, and came across Kasey. So i cant honsetly say what the circumstances are but i usually find the ones to stay away from are the ones saying she is off good breeding age, sale due to personal reasons. This woman seems more open, but i could be wrong Smile

Oh and Barry i dont know about what she has done to try and stop the sheep problem ,but i know thats a problem koda has(oh and deer) and dont think i will ever stop, might get better, I dont think he would ever kill them, well until he catches them then he might learn the next stage Rolling Eyes , but i think thats his hunting instinct kicking in and just wants the chace, Its hard with Huskys thats why they generally are not allowed off leash as they basically do what they want and their recall is poor when focosed on something else. They are stubborn dogs, but great when you get them working with you, just have to work extra hard with them Smile
