ok first of all the pitch was just as boggy as my garden but she was quite happy to run about and get bogging she is just wearied.

took one of her new jumps with us although i haven't DIYed it yet (orders some cups today that i can attach to them)
so in total i had two jumps, two tunnels and the weaving poles that Carole lent me for the week, which were amazing i can see how her body is going to move when she starts to do them properly, the channel weave is so much essayer than trying to do the line strait away by leading her, i have the day off tomorrow so if it good weather again i will be taking my camera with me this time. so i can show my mum and friends what she can do.

think im going to have to get myself a cart or trolley or something to carry all the equipment

Hi Kendal

Where did you buy your agility equipment from? I'd really like to get a few pieces to use for Oscar, but I don't want to pay a lot of money (if I can help it)!

my first jump i think mum got from ebay the three new ones i got are not so new as i got them for a pound each off someone from agility (not in the best condition hence reason for needing DIY lol)

one of the tunnels came with a starter kit that was very flimsy and broke easy the tunnel was the only descent thing in it. the other tunnel was from ebay again i think.
i am going to make my own weaving poles out of broom handles that i will cut in half and bang a nail into the end to it will stick into the ground(essayer to teach the channel weave and essayer to transport)

john said he had a book that tells you how to make up your own agility equipment, been meaning to ask if i could borrow it, but in sure he would lend it to you if it is of any use. hope this helps.

Kendall

Have you thought about using plastic conduit for making weave poles. These would prob be cheaper than broom sticks, and would also be a lot lighter.

You could put a wooden bung in the end with a spike through the bung for sticking in the ground.

that something like what im planning to do as the three jumps that i got came with poles but they are too long for my liking so i am planning on halving them, that will give me six to start off with.

but its a good tip thanks
