Hi All,
Louise and I have been looking at anti barking collars for Ralph. He is causing havoc when clients turn up at the salon and he barks like a mad man. We need to run into the house and correct him which is a real pain. We would never go for a shock collar but we have looked at water jet collars and ordered one the other day. It came last night and I have to admit the results were dramatic, he barked once and stopped midway through. We only use the collar when he is out of our control in the house during the day.
You may agree/disagree with the collar but I wanted to let you know about the results we found.

looks good robert if it works!....... i am not a fan of e collars but if you have exhausted everything else and you get a result then fine!.......you use what works!
obviously they can be used incorrectly but in the right hands i think they can be effective!!!
good luck ! _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........
the perfect combination!

Robert would be really interested to see if this works. Jake is a terrible barker and lately has been having a pop at Libby every time we are out and barks in her face like mad!
Let me know how you get on, i've heard they can get used to the spray some can continue to bark _________________ Dogs are like Chocolate, you just can't have one! |

We tried the sonic ones but it didnt work for our 2 dogs, it was the whippets....well that swhat I call Pixel too when im talking about her and Scooby as she is 1/2 whippet
But it was a dog that was left roaming around a neighbours garden that had them barking at day in day out and whippets like to guard their property...Scooby is the same in the car, he sounds like he would kill someone
If anyone wants to try the sonic collars they can have a loan of them to try out _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

We have (touch wood) no problems with his barking but oh I do wish someone could invent an anti chew collar!! We're still waiting (hoping ) for him grow out of it. I'm just waiting now for my next order of Bitter Apple spray to arrive. Good luck with the barking! _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |
