Debbie and Robert were walking in the Glen last night and Mishka cut her paw, they reckon that she cut it in the water at the wee bridge that's near the end of the walk.

We try not to take our 2 to the glen as much as the amount of broken glass is getting worse Evil or Very Mad

It's a shame because it's a nice walk and not too strenuous if only the neds with the buckfast bottles would stop hanging out there maybe more people would be walking there with or without dogs.Hope mishka is ok Smile

I try to keep Tikka on lead down glen ever since she sliced a pad! The problem is the glass is even in areas you wouldn't have thought, its these I.E the water etc where most of the poor dogs are picking up cuts!

We really need to remember to keep taking photos whenever we see glass around. I keep forgetting - so a reminder to myself as well. Smile

We thought it looked okay and it is one of the very few places she is allowed off lead Rolling Eyes Luckily it isn't too bad, I have been dressing it and its healing fine.

We were down the glen this evening and only saw one little bit of glass. Maybe we have just been lucky. We take Jack to the glen regularly and so far so good!

I think someone has been cleaning up the Glen. I mentioned it to John today. There definitely seemed to be more glass free areas today.
