Hi guys I know this will seem like a really random question, but did anyone receive a 'Media Mate' magazine this month? My work has an advert in it, and is being billed for it, it was to be distributed in Bellshill, Coatbridge, Airdire and the Cumbernauld area.

We have had nothing back from it and staff from these areas haven't had anything delivered.
So this is the quickest and easiest way for me to do a check around the area Laughing

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies thumbleft

Well I work for Livingwell, but it'll probably be a big Hilton advert with a small LivingWell mention Rolling Eyes Laughing

We had one recently.. but I'm afraid it always goes straight into the bin. I have doubts about the effectiveness of what is essentially a glossy book of adverts (apart for the folks producing it of course Laughing ) Is there actually anything in it to read?

just dug the mediamate out of blue bin, got delivered last week (whitelees).

Hilton Bellshill gets a tiny mention on page4 about a competition (6 months beauty membership) but cant see anything about Livingwell or photographer you asked about...might just be blind though! Very Happy

will have another look....

Hi Jaydee, we got one through the door last week, despite being MPS registered. Twisted Evil
Had a quick glance through it. It seemed to be mostly ad's for other areas than Cumbernauld. It went in the blue bin, sorry.

No problem Lorna, this is kind of the response we expected at local level... unfortunately head office thought it was a great way to spend a large chunk of our marketing budget for the month Confused

Maybe a quick poll of people on here might help you to preserve your budget in future - if your bosses are persuaded by responses.
Wee suggestion:
Why don't you get them to use a different telephone number or email address for responses from specific ad's? We have used this to persuade clients of the effectiveness of a campaign we have put together for them. it makes clear what is and what is not successful. It could avoid you losing budget resources you would rather use more effectively.
