I will be changing Dexter on to a raw diet soon, firstly mixing with his normal kibble, just so he doesn't get the runs! puke

I have looked at all the info reg raw diet but can't see adv on how much to feed a growing pup. (mmm im probably blind) From what iv'e seen, for an Adult Dog its 2-3% of ideal body weight. So what would it be for a pup????? Any suggestions, thanks.

it's much the same Grace, there's no hard and fast rules. It's pretty easy once you get started, use your own judgement. If Dexter looks to be getting chubby reduce the quantity or vice versa. But I would think a growing pup of his size may need in the region of 2lbs a day give or take.
Trial and error to begin with really.

John has a delivery of food arriving this week if he has ordered any extra I will ask him to pop a couple of bags of mince aside for you to try Smile

grace i had the same problem. i was feeding yoda so much she could not eat for days. However if you go to the AMP site. under the Barf dietthen natural feeding for dogs at the bottom of the page it tells you. you should feed 100 to 150grams per 10Kg of your dog weight. so yoda is 27kg i give her 350g of raw meat. However she is now over weight i will reduce. i hope this helps.
