I'm getting one of the pictures from Ben Lomond framed and I'm looking for a title....one of my friends Robert suggested 'New Horizons' which I think is pretty apt, but I just want to see what you guys think as I value your opinions Smile

thanks in advance

This is a nice Pic. Only seen it as an avatar before.

New Horizons is probably the ideal name for this.

But have a think before you commit.

How about :

The Big Country
Sweet Success
Success Factor

or my choice

They said there was a bar up here. Laughing Laughing

Good Luck in your quest.

Let us know what you decide.

"New Horizons" is good. My choice would be what you use as your digital signature except it's probably a bit on the long side for a title though.

"They said there was a bar up here"

LOL!

Very Happy

When I look at it i just think it is "a quiet moment..." because it is a really peaceful, contemplative moment amid what was a sea of madness behind you!

But I like new horizons... that's nice. Apt.

(or Paws for Thought! LOL)

Hmmm, yeah.

Contemplation.

I like that too Lynn.

Here are some quotes about "contemplation" then...

"With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony, and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things."
William Wordsworth

The ultimate value of life depends upon awareness and the power of contemplation rather than upon mere survival.
Aristotle

Few people even scratch the surface, much less exhaust the contemplation of their own experience.
Randolph Bourne

The act of contemplation then creates the thing created.
Isaac Disraeli

What a man takes in by contemplation, that he pours out in love.
Meister Eckhart

What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.
Meister Eckhart

That pleasure which is at once the most pure, the most elevating and the most intense, is derived, I maintain, from the contemplation of the beautiful.
Edgar Allan Poe

Contemplation seems to be about the only luxury that costs nothing.
Dodie Smith

I think New Horizons is good... but I do like the idea of having a quote underneath it... something philosophical!

I just keep wondering how you got the dog to sit there and not try to nick your sandwich.

Tell me!!!

Food at head level is generally perceived as dog food in my house.
