Well, talking of babies, I became a Great Auntie again yesterday!!!! Very Happy
My nephew is now the proud daddy to Ethan David. He was a healthy 9lb 2oz (smaller than his daughter when she was born!)
Ethan is a nice name, I like that. Nice choice.

When I was pregnant I had decided that if my baby was a girl I'd call her Rebecca. But when I saw her I looked and said no, that's an Emily! Smile So sometimes the name you choose beforehand doesn't always fit the bill!

I quite like traditional names too, nothing too obscure. After all they have to live with it their whole life! I know what it's like having an unusual name, I hated it when I was young, always wished I'd been called Jane or something instead. But I don't mind it now. Smile

My friends two girls are called Rayne and Raven. Really unusual but again they suit the names.

Do you want to name your baby after anyone?

The only thing I wish I had done was given Emily a middle name, I wanted to give her the same middle name as my dad. But didn't Sad and I do regret that. His middle name was Shanley. Which if I'd ever had another child I would have given them that as their first name even though it's a surname! Smile

oh I'm babbling............. Embarassed

I like soft sounding names. But I like ethnic names too.

I love Diarra... African meaning 'gift', or Tehara... dont know where that one came from... but I remember it meaning 'to bloom'!

Just as well Im not having babies eh?! Laughing
