Diesel is so placid and wellbehaved I think he would like to move in with us. He could meet our postman. _________________ Janice and Dale |

Was a good day out for us and Doogle too, even though the wee man gave me friction burns trying to run around. Seeing the Spaniels from Drummuir (?sp) kennels was a highlight for me - nice to see what Doogle could become if we can learn how to train him! Scurry was an absolute hoot. Shame we weren't allowed to throw the things ourselves though, because 'sit, stay...... go for it!' is his best 'trick'. Poor thing is absolutely tuckered out now, just chilling with me on the sofa... I think the mad run he had with Libby and Star at the Glen after the show probably did that!
Anyway, have some photos of Doogle, Koda (just can't get over his eyes ), Inca and Gypsy. Also of the pup Koda was playing with , but don't know his name Shots aren't particularly good, but hey.. the photofairies can't be around all the time
Doogle. One of the Drummuir Spaniels in the background.
Koda playing with a friend.
Inca, looking pretty.. How she didn't win...?
Gypsy and Kendal, impromptu doggie dancing.
Koda looking serious.. can he look any other way?

Stuart, the scurry was hilarious!!!!!!! Doogle looked promising .......... then fell by the wayside .......... Pixel never looked promising and just loved taking the p*** out f Shirley and running around the entire field, and Murphy was more interested in me and leaping the fence to get to me instead of fetching He plays fetch great in the garden and is soooooo up for it. But he was more in the mood for embarassing us today.
I blame it on Pixel ............ she lead by example! |

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my day......nice to see so many from the club and forum there. and nice to meet some forum members for the first time.
Byrony, if you read this from a punters point of view everything look to be running smoothly.........it maybe didn't feel that way to you.......a little stress was apparent in your show ring
Murphy was useless at the scurry.......more interested in looking at Marcella.
The world record attempt was good fun.....neither Diesel or Murphy would eat it 'not real food'
I'm really glad the weather held out......made the day.
I loved the RAF display.....all the dropped food in the ring hindered them until the bite suit came out.
Lots of great puppies to see.
I spoke with Dogs Trust and thanked them for sending the Club so many dogs and told them we were going to be sending down tins of food etc.......
all in all a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon _________________ John Thomson

We also had a great day out and Libby did really well at the scurry! Star and Libby had to go for showers after their walk in the glen with doogle you should have seen the mess of them! Poor Doogle was so upset that he couldn't keep up with them
It was nice to see everyone having so much fun with their dogs _________________ Dogs are like Chocolate, you just can't have one! |
