Maybe Janis would like to widen her selection of treats.

Cheese and Garlic biscuits
250g flour (use any flour or a mix of flours)
2 eggs
50ml water
150g Cheddar Cheese
cloves garlic ( or use garlic powder or granules)
80g fat (try beef fat)

Using a food processor mix garlic and cheese
Then add flour and fat
With the machine running add eggs and enough water to from a ball of dough
Knead lightly by hand and roll out on a floured surface to about 3/8-inch thickness
Cut out with the cutter of your choice and place on a non-stick baking sheet
Bake at 200 for 15mins. Then turn over and cook for a further 10/15 mins
Different flours absorb amazingly different quantities of liquid. If it is dry add more liquid if wet add more flour - dogs really aren't fussy! The quickest way to make these biscuits is with a food processor but you can do it by hand if you prefer

Turkey Treats
1 pound of minces Turkey
1/2 to 3/4 cup of breadcrumbs
2 tblsp parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix all together and shape like a cigar sized shapes
Bake on a baking sheet (grease baking tray well) at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 mins
Slice when cooled - they freeze well after they are cooled and sliced

Canine Carrot Cookies
2 cups carrots - boiled and pureed
2 eggs
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 cups brown rice flour
1 cup of rolled oats
1/4 cup wheat germ or rice or rye flour

combine carrots, eggs, and garlic together - mix until smooth
add dry ingredients - roll out on heavily floured surface and cut into bars or desired shapes
bake at 300 degrees for 45 mins or to desired crunchiness

Honey and Peanut butter cookies
8oz plain flour
3 tblspns of oil
3 tblspns honey
1 heaped tblspn of peanut butter
6 tblspns of water

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
roll out into a sausage and slice - place on a baking tray and pop into the oven
centres will continue to harden as they cool

- gas mark 4 - 5 for 25 mins
