Bear update

Bear has been back for check up & no improvement in lameness so is booked in for X-ray etc under full anesthetic on Monday morning. Vet also gave him more anti-biotic as they want to keep him on them till his wound is closed in case he picks up something in the hole on his shoulder. He is more or less normal Bear but for the 3 leg thing!

oh jenny, sounds as if he is on the right road though the road may be a long one!

i am glad he is feeling better albeit on three legs!..........keep us posted after the x ray!

spoke to Jenny last night and Bear not improving much Sad

still on pain killers and awaiting more tests.

Sorry I haven't posted was a bit upset. X-rays didn't show what caused the abscess, no foreign bodies etc but the vets didn't like what they saw on films so have sent them of to orthopedic specialists for their opinion. He goes back to vets tonight.

so so good to see the big lad tonight at class!..................i know he is still not quite up to speed but he is looking as good as ever and i think you can start seeing light at the end of the tunnel jenny!
