Well I`ve decided that I`m going to wrap the little Madam in cotton wool. She tore a pad last week on glass and today after returning from the glen I`ve noticed 3 quite large grazes and cuts on her hind leg.

She had an antibiotic shot last week so I`ve cleaned the wounds with TCp, put soomne antiseptic and spray plaster on them and I`m keeping my fingers cross.

Of course she hasn`t batted an eyelid. She never lets on if she has hurt herself

Otto will be more scar than dog by the time he's 10!!! Not glass but sticks.

But there isn't much we can do to stop him other than patch him up. Thankfully only the recent incident has required vet treatment, normally it's just a wee gash here and there.

Nature of the beast - no hair to protect him, and nose down and he's off.

Drinks manufacturers should subsides vet bills!!!
