Dodge done one of his usual disappearing acts up at croy this morning. He appeared back with a huge rabbit dangling out of his mouth. Dead by the time he had come back to me thank goodness.

Thankfully he had no desire, unlike kaiser last week, to rip it to bits and eat it, he just dumped in on the path in front of me. Bob promptly picked it up and wouldn't let it go till we got back to the car.

What a way to start a day...Dogs Rolling Eyesd

Kirsty, I feel for you I really do - I'd be horrified if one of mine had done that AND I'd have probably embarrassed myself by bursting into tears and/or throwing up Embarassed . I'm so soppy about all things furry! Yes I KNOW it's their instinct to do this and there's not a darned thing you can do other than keep him permanently leashed but I'd have still given the huffy treatment I think Embarassed

For what it's worth, if it is any consolation, he was obviously showing off to you, proud of what he had done and brought back for you and the reaction he was no doubt looking for was praise and for you to get stuck into your surprise brekkie! Don't suppose you did mind? Shocked Laughing Laughing
