call BT .............. they may need to 'up' the frequency. We had that just a month ago but it was sorted by Talk Talk upping the frequency. |

If it's a new connection and it comes and goes, it might just be part of the normal automatic line test routine that BT do on ADSL lines. Try to avoid disconnecting anything for the first few days... most connections are 'adaptive' meaning the download speed will be limited to an amount that the BT hardware thinks is appropriate - which can be far less than the line can normally take if there was a temporary glitch. Can take a few days for the speed to reset to a decent value. Make sure the modem is plugged into the main socket via a short lead and avoid adding too many phones, etc.
Jeez, I'm in a rambling mood tonight.. you probably know all this already! |

I did the inital set up in about 40 mins then you have to leave the box on for an hour to set it self up then about another 20 mins putting the software on to the PC. It was really easy actually. |
