Hi there my name is Melanie and my little pooch is called Freeway. He is a Yorkshire terrier and is one and a half.
He is very cheeky, and thinks he is human. \he is very affectionate and a great companion and guard dog. He wears clothes and has a ponytail as well.
We have been going to the club for about six weeks now and are enjoying it.
I'm keen to get Freeway used to social interaction with other dogs.
I want to see him improve gradually but have fun too.
I am hoping to get his constant barking at people and other dogs under control. |

Hi Melanie,
Thanks for saying hello.
I'm sure Freeway will steadily improve, already his barking is far less than when you first came up to the club. He seems to be starting to enjoy himself at class, on his first night both you and him looked terrified!
If you have any questions please post and you should get plenty of answers.

Hi Melanie,
Welcome to the club.
I'm sure if you persevere with taking Freeway out to busy places the barking will stop. Remember not to anticipate the barking by pulling too tightly on the lead as Freeway could then start to think there is something to bark at as you have tensed up on the lead.
Good luck! |
