Hektor has been unusually quiet and subdued...I know I moan about his loopy antics but this is not what I want. Started yesterday morning with him not wanting to eat his breakfast, he perked up a bit when we went for the walk at Croy but slept the rest of the day. He ate his dinner at 6 and half heartedly went out for a quick walk later. Same routine today...only ate half his breakfast, slept all day and didnt want his dinner. he hasnt got the runs, hasnt been sick...I gave him his tuggy rope this evening to see if that would perk him up and he did have a sook and play with it...hope we're not off to the Vet tomorrow... Sad

He's a wee bit better, still not eating much but doesnt seem so lethargic. Had some cold meat earlier and tried a carry-on with Ollie. Think I'll go get some chicken for his dinner and see if I can tempt him with that. Hope he's just had some virus or something....

Lisa,
he will eat when he feels like it.........don't fall into the trap of trying to tempt him with something he does not normally get..........he will play on it.

Lisa,

Hope he continues to perk up Smile Despite knowing that what John says is perfectly true if mine are off colour I too would tempt them with whatever I could to try and get them eating again Embarassed Laughing Laughing Laughing Mind I don't fall for the whole playing on it routine, once I see for myself their hunger is there it's back to their normal diet Wink

Well we will be off to the Vets tomorrow morning, Hektor still not right. I have a horrible feeling he has eaten part of a stick, found bark in his poo yesterday afternoon. It would have happened on Wednesday when I had him out and off the lead. Good signs are that he IS still picking at his food but he is not drinking anything like he usually does and is still quite lethargic and looking sorry for himself. He's not passing much either (though he's not eating normally so to be expected I suppose)

Oh joy...thank goodness for insurance Sad
