OK i don't know if this is my laptop that is doing this but its starting to bugg me

i can go on the site and see that there is say 5 topics that are new or have been commented on i may look at two of them, then like today i went on the walk, closed my laptop over. it was like what two hours ago i come back and it says there is no posts, is it just me or is it something on the forum, i didn't even find the photos John put up from the walk on Tuesday till last night and that was only because i saw the thread about the puppy walk photos. Confused don't why that is Kendal. Were you signed in? It doesn't show new posts until you are signed in ....... Question

I've not had any probs like that but if anyone else has maybe they'll let us know now that you've mentioned it.

Do either of you have to log in manually everytime you switch your computer on or does it sign in automatically?
The only thing I can think of is that when the computers are switched off your soft=ware removes the cookie which allows the site to recognise your computer are one which has already visited the site Confused

Shocked
Very strange Eleanor.........definetly no posts have been deleted.......what Kendal and Allan are describing is different.they just can't see the new post notification.

I'll try and do a google search and see if I come upwith anything.

Kendal

I was kidding about John deleting my posts Smile Smile Smile

I know he's not that mean Twisted Evil

But seriously I have lost loads of posts into the black hole

I have started logging on at lunchtime in work, but it is slower than at home as I can't seem to fit all the pc stuff in these days - sit at the pc and the night just disappears

I have no idea why the posts aren't showing Eleanor .............. that's not happened with anyone else.
Remember at the start you had trouble posting? What did you do then to put it right?
