it is a kennel name...I can only assume that they breed hire drive working type dogs hence the 'not easy' comment.....I have to say that in the right hands this type of dog is fantastic.

So sad to hear he's looking for a new home - makes me think that there's more to this than meets the eye - who would get rid of ANY dog simply because of it's breeding background if the dog exhibited no signs of problems? And just because you're moving into rented accommodation? Confused Perhaps he's a really bad destructor and they're worried from that angle but the right training and exercise would surely address that?

Whatever the real reason I hope the dog finds the right home soon.

I know a lot of rented accommodation don't allow pets so this is maybe why

What a shame tho.... I know this is the type of dog Allan would like but with what we have plus I dont think im strong enough Rolling Eyes

You try getting rented accommodation if you have Staffies Shirley! A young mum off our forum was trying this very thing - she was told pets were welcome....until they found out the pet in question was a Staffie Evil or Very Mad She lost numerous properties because of this. Her dog is beautiful, exceptionally well behaved and controlled yet she was prejudiced because of the breed. Evil or Very Mad

So you have a fair point but....... much was made about the GSD being a "patna dog" which makes me think there's more going on here. Confused I could be reading too much into that but......
