Kerry

it's the Scottish Kennel Club dog show

runs for 3 days usually, with different groups on different days, so you need to check what's on which day so you can see the dogs that interest you (Kennel club website should display info)

It also runs in May, I was at the one in May, so don't think we will go to the August one

If you go I'm sure you will enjoy it

I went to the May show to see Otto's dad strut his stuff (and nearly keeled over when I saw how big he was).

It's a good day out and fun seeing all the dogs. Plus we got some cheap vetbed.

Well, if you do make it John, do come and say hello! I'll be mainly at the agility (I just hope to god I go the right way! Laughing Embarassed ), and i'll probably have a look round the breed rings and, of course, the trade stands!! Very Happy

I cant wait, my friend has Afghans, they are gorgeous but wow what a work the coats take, specially since she keeps hers quite natural and they run around like dogs most of the time instead of fancied up with jackets and boots and head scarves on Rolling Eyes

I prefer the working types to the KC reg. dogs, have you seen show greyhounds... not nearly as nice as racers and Bedlington terriers with their soft coats, cant see them getting in around the brambles after rats/rabbits
