Although we didn't know him for very long Sunny completely took over our hearts. We loved him dearly and are missing him so much already. He was gently put to sleep at 4pm today after the verdict that he was far too ill for any treatment for what is suspected to have been very far advanced cancer.
Although this is a sad time I don't regret for a moment giving him a loving home for the last few weeks of his life. He'll be sorely missed and always dearly cherished.

Ooooh Vikki I am devastated for you, both me and Allan are in tears here, even after only knowing him a wee short while, he really touched our hearts and I am so sorry for your loss.

I am glad you had him for his last few weeks and he was loved and kept comfortable, warm and most probably spoilt too Smile

Goodbye big angel Sunny angel10

Oh Vikki I'm so very very sorry love. It's heartbreaking but you can take great comfort in the fact that you made him happy and loved for his last few weeks. Bless your incredibly kind heart for that. RIP little Sunny.xxxxxxxxxx

So sorry to hear of your loss. Take comfort from the fact that the last thing you did for him showed the greatest love of all.

vikki i am so so sorry for your loss......but must echo all the previous words in that you gave him love warmth and security during his last weeks of his little life!

it doesn't matter whether we have a pet for weeks months or years they do become very much part of the family and quickly we see their personality fit in with our lifestyles!

god bless sunny!

Vikki, I was set next to shirley when Luka snarled at Sunny when you brought him/her in, I be honest I was surprised to see the poor dog suffering so much as you could read it in his/her eyes, what can you do? I think you made the right decision if it was as advanced as that.

Very sad day indeed and my neighbour died last night and I was the one who call the 999. Never expected that to happen but it did.
