Was Tina in season the last time it visited
Does not matter if he is entire or not. He will be a nuisance if you take him in.
This is not a sign that you need to look after this dog.
Its hard enough for you to get another dog you want never mind taking in a dog you don't.
This dog is not your problem.
If he come close enough for you to get a hold of him take him to the dog home let them deal with him and his owners hopefully.

no i dont think she was in season the last time
well he came back yesterday afternoon again so i phoned the dog warden but when she came out he ran off, even took tina and got her to bark to see if it would bring him back lol, no sign of him tho
fiona (dog warden) said this is about the 4th time she has picked this dog up, so she knows were it lives, so am not worried coz it does have a home and if it wants to sit outside my door and freeze its butt of then thats up to him lol
your right jack iam not taking this dog into my home............as much as i love animals and dont like to see them out in the cold i have my own pets to think about _________________

There goes Jack being the voice of reason While the rest of us have bleeding hearts worrying about this poor chap being out in the cold
I HAVE to ask......if the dog warden knows about this dog & where it lives - why is something not being done about the owners and their failure to control & keep safe their dog? Of course he may be an escapologist like Dodge USED to be until he found the right loving home but even so - surely the wardens should have some control/power to address this? _________________ Staffies are my life! yeah thats what i thought 2, i did ask her this and she said she is going to look in to it further this time, never mind it just being cold its gona end up getting run over !
when ive watched it out the window whenever someone walks past (usually kids) it runs straight at them barking so anyone that is not sure of dogs will be really frightened _________________

They HAVE to act. The dog could get harmed as you say but also could bite someone if it gets out of control - let's say a child screams and waves it's arms about......if the dog is already in a state of high excitement it could bolt AT the child and attack. The child could be seriously harmed and the dog destroyed - all because it's owners are incapable of keeping it looked after and secure
Sorry if it were me I'd be bugging the life out of the dog warden until they oh I swore acted! On many things I am compassionate but on this I see it clearly in black and white - someone HAS to take responsibility for that dog and if not it's owners then it should be the authorities.
No offence intended to you personally Charlene - you are doing all you can - it's the owners and the authorities I'm annoyed with. _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Aww just read this thread... Dodge likes to stay at home now, especially on a freezing night like tonight
poor wee mite. obviously not happy where he is....wish he could get a forever home where he can curl up in front of the fire....or radiator _________________ "In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog." |
