She's in the best possible place Claire. It's very common for infections to appear after a big op. Glad you went back to the vets and got her checked out, don't worry she'll be fine once the antibiotics have kicked in, she'll be back before you know it. I'm here if you need me.xxxxx

Well we got her back tonight, She was opened back up and he infection flushed, so we need to giver Tara antibiotics for a weeks and take her back to the vets in 5 days. The vet was sure we where taking the buster collar off but I advised that Tara was trying to scratch with her back paws 'Cheeky Girl' so I have now put a pair of socks on the two back paws to make sure it doesn't get infected again. But she is way more bubbly now and looking better Smile Thanks Everyone Smile

FANTASTIC news Claire!!!!! I must admit I thought she'd only be away from you for 24 hours unless it were really really serious. Pets recover MUCH better if they're at home with their loved ones in comfortable surroundings than if stuck at a vets. Keep bathing her wound for her with the salted water and gently dab on antiseptic cream afterwards to keep it clean and speed the healing process - also by paying such close attention to it you'll pick up on any whiffs or physical changes quickly and can whip her back in if you need to.

Soooooo happy she is home - HUGE kiss and cuddle to her from me please.xxxxxxxxxx
