FANTASTIC news Claire!!!!! I must admit I thought she'd only be away from you for 24 hours unless it were really really serious. Pets recover MUCH better if they're at home with their loved ones in comfortable surroundings than if stuck at a vets. Keep bathing her wound for her with the salted water and gently dab on antiseptic cream afterwards to keep it clean and speed the healing process - also by paying such close attention to it you'll pick up on any whiffs or physical changes quickly and can whip her back in if you need to.

Soooooo happy she is home - HUGE kiss and cuddle to her from me please.xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Jack I will do the salt water and antiseptic cream..... BIG THANK YOU for all your advice over the last couple of days you have been a star...And as always I will pass the hug and kiss! Very Happy

She is doing good, she is still very quiet and tired but doing far better. The vets left a tube in so that it can be used as a drain so maybe that's helping. Only problem we are having is she is starting to click on that we are putting the tabs in her chicken Rolling Eyes They are so smart Very Happy

Good news Claire.

I am having a laugh to myself here.

I have a picture of Tara in my head with a Just Say No (To Drugs) Tee Shirt On.

Taking the mince with you mark and the Tabs.
