Given the recent thread concerning Buster I popped back onto my Staffies Forum & retrieved this post I made back in July when creating the Health section on there.
I don't know if it helps any of you but I always feel better if I know what I am dealing with and why so here's the thread along with the links I popped on there. Hope some of you may find it interesting and useful.xxx
On my way home today from the dentists I met THE most gorgeous red boy. He was HUGE!!! Extremely friendly (and that was just me! ) I discovered this lovely boy had been diagnosed as having epilepsy about 18 months ago. Chatting with his lovely owner I found out he's on drugs to help control it and she has to TRY and keep him calm to minimise the risk of a fit cue me TRYING to calm down too
I have passed on our details to his owner and hope she may join us on here but in the meantime thought I'd start a thread about the condition so you can all read for yourselves and who knows it might help someone else out there too so here goes...
There's lots more sites out there so if you have a favourite or feel it offers more information than the above please feel free to post on here.x. _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk

Always useful to have information, I have found. Things are generally not so scary when you can understand what's going on. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze.
Pleasure, there's loads more out there but they're the ones I posted on my forum. Hope it helps a little - VERY gentle and calm kisses & cuddles from me to Buster.xxxxx _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk
