Hi Gaelle.

Sorry to hear Cuthbert is unwell.

I am sure he will be back to his usual self in no time.

Yeah she is getting better thanks Jack, she still has her Buster collar on and taking her tabs, but now the 3rd time lucky looks like it may be stitching together and healing finger x. Very Happy

Cuthbert seems much brighter today, thankfully as he was SO unlike himself yesterday, at one point last night , I even ended up bathing this face, neck and paws in tepid/ cool water as his nose was hot and dry and his pads felt really hot too. He didn't even mind! He did perk up not long afterwards though and has been slowly improving since then. The only thing now is I've noticed that where he got one of the injections in the back of his neck, he now has a fairly large soft swelling. Doesn't SEEM to bother him though. Think I'll just have to keep an eye on it .
At least he is now drinking and eating and much more interested in life. Smile Smile Smile

Great news Gaelle - so relieved for you and Cubs naturally. Keep an eye on that injection spot - it is not unheard of for an allergic reaction to occur and that's where the first evidence would be. I suspect it's most likely just because he's had a jab there and will clear up in a few days. Try gently massaging to help the fluid that has rushed there to aid healing disperse Wink

When my Rosie was poorly I had a cool damp flannel almost glued to my hand and regularly patted her down - it does help so keep at that. And keep at it with the syringe if he's still not drinking properly Smile
