Lisa and Colin, I am sorry Ollie has left. Remember all the good times and gain strength from the memories of having given him such a good life. Thinking of you and Hector,

Thanks everybody, we are all feeling a little better today.

Had a blub this morning tho when Hektor came rushing in from his walk looking for Ollie in his bed but other than that the big lump has been Ok. Even left him for 2 hours alone while the kids had their swimming lessons and nothing was out of place..

Oh bless you hunny - BIG hugs to you. That's gonna happen and it will take you from surprise in the months and years ahead but straightaway will be followed by such happy and fond memories and thoughts it will become more bearable I promise. I thought I'd never get over the loss of my Mitzi, from the loss of Gus (my blue Persian) and his girlfriend Poppy and their daughters Buggy and Smellycat (yep they were REALLY called that - started off as nicknames then the little sods wouldn't answer to anything else Rolling Eyes ) but it honestly gets easier and I remember them all with such huge affection and laugh at so many memories that it makes the pain go away. I was truly blessed to have known and loved all of my pets over the years. I'm a lucky gal and so were ARE you Wink

I don't know that this will help much but for what it's worth.....

Do not grieve or cry

For I am not gone

I am the air, the wind, the river,

I am everywhere and nowhere.

When you feel the caress of the breeze,

Smile and think of me.

When you hear the chatter of the river,

Smile and think of me

For I am not gone

I will be there.
