My puppy seems to be like a camel -- she seems not to drink most of the day but has an enormous amount of water in one sitting (usually in the evening around 8pm).

Should I be worried? She always has access to fresh water and I make sure i replace it several times a day

Nope, I wouldn't worry - it's obviously a little routine she has gotten herself in to and is quite happy with. Mine occassionally do the same and they have access to fresh drinking water all day and night. Wink

The only time I would worry is if this causes her to pee in the house during the night.

thanks -- maybe I am just overly anxious! I tend to get up at 4am and put her on a puppy pad and she has a pee then. She is only 13 weeks old so it's all relatively new for me.

Sounds to me as if you are and she are doing just fine David Wink Enjoy her, she'll make the odd mistake but that's part of the pleasure of pups Very Happy

She is gorgeous by the way, don't think I've said that before Smile

She had been visiting her real dog mum and sister and had ran about with them for about two hours. When I brought her home she was dead to the world for the rest of the night.

bless Smile It's funny, the "mummy" tag. I'm mummy too, but she is not in a traditional mummy/daddy family. She has two daddies technically, but I do the mummy stuff - LOL

Aw fanks David!!!! I am a teeny bit biased but quite agree of course Rosie as a pup was too adorable for words - shame she grew into a tank! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

My Ella's attitude is clear to see in HER pics methinks - stroppy little madame she can be! Laughing

Going looking at those links now, see you in a minute Smile

OMG - serious drool alert - how the heck did you manage to pick just one? I'd have wanted the lot!!!! Embarassed Mummy is absolutely gorgeous too!!!

Aww David.... great pics of Tia, she is gorgeous Smile
Its nice to see the pics of the mum and litter mates too...
When Bracken had her puppies last year , I took sooooo many photos and emailed them
to all the new owners every week... so they had pics of their dogs from minutes old
until they took them home at 8 weeks. Very Happy

Thanks Tricia -- I was lucky as it was my cousins dog so I got to visit every week and see the puppies develop. In the end I left it to the puppy to choose me and we were lucky enough to get Tia

I brought her into work on Friday and she was a huge hit. 140 new people to sniff and play with

Tilly tends to do that but we stop her from doing it now since she will drink her entire bowl and then throw it up over the carpet.
