Intro!

Hi All

Just going to introduce myself as hoping to start classes with my dog sometime soon Very Happy

I'm Cara, and my dog is an 8 month old black Lab called Ben. I've discovered he's a bit of a freak though - he's got very vivid tan markings that appear to be brindled in all the points a breed such as a Rottie would have. I have questioned his purebred status with Lab breeders but seems as though it's just mismarkings, or likely his line has been crossed generations back to introduce the tan genes. He's still a bit of a handful, hence why I'm wanting to start classes to get him over this "I'm alpha" stage Laughing

He's lovely Cara!!! I'm very fond of brindle markings being a Staffie lover and I'll just bet he goes a beautiful mahogany chocolate colour in the sunshine Smile

Ben is lovely and I'm sure you will both enjoy the training classes.
I have Lucy a collie x and 3 border terriers... Bracken her daughter Ruby and new addition Copper.

John, yep Ben thinks he's top dog unless I've caught him raiding the bin or chewing something - then he's off like a shot and crawling to try and get us to talk to him.

Hi Cara I'm Lisa with Hektor, 1 1/2 year old Great Dane. he also has dominance issues...I think I am boss but suspect he does too..classes and walks are great for socialising them, hope to meet you on a walk sometime.
