Sooo many thanks to Louise for her patience in clipping the impossible coat that Ella had. She's just as beautiful as ever. And now her hair is less matted I've been able to brush her (with minimal resistance) and even get a coat on her - well now she has no hair she needs a coat. See pics below:

fantastic. she looks lovely. sounds like the hair cut has already mad a difference if you can now brush her a bit and pop a coat on.

Yes everyone she is gorgeous Laughing

It's been like a reverse Samson effect with the hair cut she is even MORE Rolling Eyes energetic than before and constantly wants to play. (Which I'm loving Laughing ). She's being much more friendly to people too - although still reluctant around dogs. I was actually really pleased with her at the class last night that she didn't snap at any of the other dogs - progress indeed.

Obviously she wasn't comfortable with the matted hair, but I wasn't reading all the signs right Embarassed . Still better late than never.

We're off to England this weekend to see my parents, so we'll see how she gets on in the car... Wink

Keep at it Vikki - you can ONLY read the signs by learning and getting to know your dog, it takes time that's all Wink

It's a very poor owner that doesn't even try so I'm sure she recognises how lucky she is to have you Smile
