Later on yesterday, I noticed Pixel was drooling a bit, on closer inspection, she has a slight droop to her mouth it is the same side as the sore eye and im wondering if its infection from it, I have checked her mouth and there doesnt seem to be anything trapped in her teeth and she is eating ok
She still has it this morning, tho she has been running around out the back garden with Luka and although a bit quieter, she seems fine otherwise
I will wait and see how she is over the weekend and maybe head to the vets again next week if she is no better or any worse
My poor wee girl has had it all recently and just as I think she is 100% there is something else _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

I was thinking of Bell's Palsy when I read your post but I'm no expert, I've just seen it in humans. Good luck and let us know how she gets on. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |

yes gaelle i agree. Seen it in a number of patients with the same aetiology. However there are many other conditions that can cause this.
What a shame shirley. I know how hard it is when you dont know exactly what is wrong with your baby.
If anything i can do just call. |

We will get to the vets tomorrow, the thing is she is still bright enough and was running around out her walk today and still keeps Luka in tow if he gets too cheeky to her _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

it looks exactly like the Bells Palsy seen in humans
perhaps it has been brought on by the stress of the operation
if it is this, the outlook should be good
hope the vet can be reassuring xxx |

Pixel is a little better this morning, so im going to watch her and see how she is and just take her to the vets if it gets worse again.
Hope this is it and she is getting better. Geri, it could just be that as she has never been away from us apart from once in the vets as a pup when she ate a load of ibuprofen so it could just have been the stress. anyway if she is getting better I wont worry _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

My brothers dog had a small stroke which resulted in her tilting her head, but she did improve. Hope pixel is better soon. |
