What type of lizard did you have Paul?

I,until last week, had a bearded dragon.

He was really nice and friendly but because we're spending more and more time with the dogs(and on this forum) we lost a bit of interest in him and decided to rehome him.

I think that in a few years time i'd like to get another reptile maybe an iguana or a snake.

Hehe... when me and Kerry were looking at getting a dog, she has always wanted a Husky, and so did I, but when I seen the puppy Malamutes I changed my mind..... BUT... I've kinda gone off the Malamutes a bit, and think the Sib is much much much nicer... although I would still have a puppy Mal... Huku from yesterday was lovely... I wanted to take him home.... hehe..

Oh, we have two bearded dragons, had them for almost two years. When we were looking at reptiles we both wanted an iguana, but decided to hold off a bit for that one. We did visit a few rescue places to see if they had any iguana's but they don't get them in that often... I think we've both decided that if we were to get another reptile then it would be from a rescue center, so it would probably be a snake... Very Happy

When I was born my dad decided to go and get a Golden Lab pup to complete the family thinkg as he had growen up with loads of diffferent breeds from JRTS, Labs, GSD,s and Dalmations. Once he got the dog and me Very Happy he promptly got a job in Saudi and left my mum to it for a few months at a time, she said she could have killed him but loved the dog to bits after that we had a JRT called Jock and I had an 8 year stint without a dog until Dora came along I had been looking for a couple of years and dad was at a job on a farm in rothesay and seen the pups and the rest is history as they say, there was actually a couple of other peopel interested in her but the breeders didn't know them so when my dad said I was keen on buying her they jumped at it and my mum is always letting them know how she is getting on and i been out to visit. Don't think I be without a dog now, and my other half Alan had never had dogs and just loves our two so much.

Well dogs in my family all my life, my mum bred rhodesian ridgebacks but when I was a baby she also had a long haired chihuahua which used to protect me in my pram and flew at anybody who wanted to look at the baby Embarassed
we also had a kind of mutt long haired GSD, Tarak he was an idiot Very Happy he was dropped on his head as a pup and Im sure he was damaged Laughing he was nuts in a friendly way though

My parents had a pub and had a huge TV which they showed things like greyhound racing, football and stuff and I remember watching Scurlough Champ for anyone who is into greyhounds they will know what im talking about Very Happy and then I wanted a greyhound from then.

My mum always said 'When you get a place of your own you can have all the dogs you want' its her fault we have 4 dogs now Laughing

Misty was my first very own dog, but she was 8 when we got her, she is pushing 13 now and starting to go downhill, but hopefully she will be with us a while yet

Pixel was our first puppy Very Happy
