i am hopin to keep him just need to persuade my boyfriend,i cant wait to see him, will have him home for just after 9 tonight.
i think they have a cheek to put him on that.they tried to accuse me of neglecting him, which is untrue i could never hurt a dog.
will let you know how he is.

There's certainly something very fishy about all this.

As the authorities are already involved care should be taken not to overstep any boundaries and even more care should be taken as regards plans being discussed on open forum.

I hate to say this but there is always the chance that someone connected to the new owners or indeed the owners themselves read this thread and THAT is why they have suddenly decided to keep Blue as they have been placed on their guard. If trying to recover a pet or rescue a dog in dire need then this should all be done privately to ensure your plans aren't thwarted or that you leave yourself open to threats/intimidation and/or legal action.

Natalie, I feel for you now you have decided you would like him back and to try and fit your new life around him I do sincerely wish you luck with that and hope that Blue does come home to you to stay. I work full time and nothing on this earth would make me part with my dogs. Luckily Mark is at home during much of the day but there are times when we have to leave our babies for unacceptably long periods of time but they are ALL safe, warm, loved and well fed/watered and I am firmly of the school that the dogs well being is what matters - better an owner that has limited time than one who doesn't give a damn or worse inflicts/allows harm to befall their pets.

Good luck, and once everything is sorted do please let us know. Smile
