they called me around 4 yesterday afternoon and said that the dog had turned,i didnt believe them because he would never have done that.i called them back at about 6 and they said he had been put down, again i didnt believe them,so i called fife police and they said i had to call sspca,so i called the microchipping company and they said as protocol if he had been put to sleep then the vet would have had to call me to ask about it.so i called her back and told her i had clarification that the dog was alive and she said 80 pound and he is yours.so i now have to call sspca to investigate and try and get him removed from thier home.

Sounds like a straight forward fraud.....would the police not get involved?.......

This must be really upsetting for you.

Oh what a nasty situation! NO WONDER YOU ARE DISTRAUGHT. All I can do unfortunately is to send positive thoughts are hopes your way. Maybe when Jack comes on later she might have some ideas. The very best of luck.

i would love to take him but i have all the pets i need at the moment, when i took on meg from her previous owner the vet told her a tip for re-homing a dog is to charge a small fee for the dog, if the new owner is willing to pay then that means they are really interested in the dog.

how is blue with cats?

can your mum not watch him during the day when your at work then you can pick him up when you finish, i guess that is provided your mum stays near to you. that is the set up i have with meg, my girlfriends mum picks her up during the day and takes her for a long walk then i pick meg up when i finish work.

keep us up to date with your situation.

yeah sorry to hear this, but there is a scam going on out there, read about this on gum tree with the same saying, the dog had apparently turned and bit hand of kid, so dog put to sleep, turned out they did it to the wrong person as a police officer gave up his dog and asked how he was settling and they got the same reply, so hopefully it can be sorted out. Sorry to hear about this Sad
